DESIGNERS & HOMEOWNERS:
HGTV - "Landscapers’ Challenge” is currently accepting applications for available Landscape Designers / Architects and local Homeowners with a front or backyard project in Delaware, Philadelphia, and Maryland.
Landscapers' Challenge - Be on the Show - Got a problem yard and need design help?
Landscapers’ Challenge is a series for Home & Garden Television that helps homeowners who have a design dilemma receive free landscape design (site plan) services. As a client on Landscapers’ Challenge, you will explain your dilemma to three qualified landscape designers. They will evaluate your project, and each designer will propose a plan to solve your problem. You will choose your favorite landscape plan, and receive the design services of your chosen designer for free! Homeowners are expected to pay for the contractor fees, labor and materials of their renovation.
If this sounds like you, you have a chance to be on our show. Houses with interesting architecture are what we are looking for! Make sure you fit the requirements, read the frequently asked questions, and then submit your information.
Homeowner Requirements:
1. Be a homeowner within 25 miles from Delaware, Philadelphia, and Maryland
2. Be ready to undertake a landscaping project in a front OR backyard (not both yards), and be open to a landscape designer’s vision.
3. Have a minimum budget of $20,000. This is based not only on the cost of softscaping (such as plants, trees and flowers) but also on labor, lighting, irrigation, hard structures and other costly items). Front yards with new driveways require at least $30,000, backyards with built in BBQ and eating areas, redoing patio or wood decking, at least $35,000, pool renovations at least $45,000, and brand new pools at least $85,000. These budgets are based on construction quotes and are recommended as a beginning point to generate designer interest.

“Landscaper’s Challenge” is also seeking qualified landscape designers and architects to participate in these upcoming programs. If you are a Designer or Architect interested in being featured on our show, please email us so we can forward you the necessary Designer paperwork to be completed and returned to us with portfolio pictures (either on disc or hard copies). Designers and architects, please tell us a bit about yourself (how long in business, type of projects you like to do, budget ranges, Design/Build firm, availability etc) give your complete contact information and your website address to: Landscape@Pietown.tv
BENEFITS OF APPEARING ON LANDSCAPERS’ CHALLENGE INCLUDE:
- Exposure to HGTV’s audience of 120+million subscribers.
- Association with a trusted network, where more than 1,000 national brands are advertised.
